SSYC members cruise the scenic waters of Puget Sound and Western Washington. We often meet for raft-ups and tie the boats together for barbecues and parties. We hold club sailboat races all summer for good-natured competition.
SSYC sponsors the annual Northwest Harvest Benefit Race which is open to all participants.SSYC sponsors a varying range of educational, sporting and social events. We have weekly classes on boating basics after our regular meetings; volleyball and wallyball games; bowling; dance classes; and monthly dances, normally held on the second Monday of every month. SSYC meets every Monday evening (except on holidays) at China Harbor.. Casual members pay $10.00 at the door for entry; $15 on dance nights. Registration begins at 7:00 p.m. The meeting program begins at 7:30 p.m. There is no charge for boat trips.
